The Melrose Public Schools data information system is Aspen. This platform is used to gather all data for both students and staff and to communicate data to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as required by state regulations.
For students, the information we collect includes up-to-date contact information, class assignments, grades, health recommendations, and any other documents such as an IEP or 504 that supports education.
We ask that you use your assigned Aspen account to:
- Update Contact Information
- Update Media Release Permissions
- Update ConnectEd Participation
And acknowledge that you have read:
- The Elementary School Student Handbook/Secondary Schools Code of Conduct
- The Social Media Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy
The collection of this information is mandatory and will provide your child’s school and the district information to communicate with families more effectively. As data collection is time sensitive, we ask that you review, update, and acknowledge no later than Friday, August 31st.
If you are unsure of your Login ID or Password please go to the login screen and click on “I forgot my password” and a temporary password will be emailed to you.
