Lending a Helping Hand

The Roosevelt PTO has two separate funds that are available to assist students and families.

The Emergency Assistance Fund is designed to provide assistance for students whose families are experiencing financial hardship.  This might include paying a student's fee for a field trip or even purchasing school supplies or clothing in cases of extreme need.  The need may be identified by teachers or parents.  Requests may be made by contacting any of the Board members or Principal Clery, and all information will be kept confidential.

The Roosevelt Families In Need Fund was established to provide one-time, larger gifts to families experiencing a severe hardship.  Again, requests may come from teachers, families, or friends.  Requests will be kept confidential if desired.  This fund was established from money earmarked by the Auction committee in the spring of 2008.

If you would like to donate directly to one of these funds, please send it in to school to the attention of the PTO Treasurer, and enclose a note explaining which fund you choose.
