Dear Parents and Students,

I am proud that Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School has received several awards. MVMMS was named a 2002 Commonwealth Compass School by the Department of Education as part of the Massachusetts Exemplary Schools Program. MVMMS is a 2007 Massachusetts Technology Collaborative Green School for its high-performance systems. MVMMS is a 2008 NELMS' Spotlight School. This award was designated for best middle school practices. We are truly a professional learning community.

Three of my many goals at Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School are as follows:
1) To infuse technology so learning and technology become deeply accepted.
2) To support exemplary teaching practices and approaches.
3) To use technology to enhance student-teacher-parent communication about homework assignments, projects, and other exciting things that are happening at Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School.
