All Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School students are welcome to join the new MVMMS Girls Youth Volleyball League!  The emphasis of this program is team work, fun, and to learn the basic skills and strategies of playing volleyball.  The league will include an eight-game season plus one team practice per week (1 hour practice).  Knee pads are required. All participants receive a free jersey.  The deadline to register is Friday, April 2, 2010.  The league is open to girls in grades six-eight.  The one-hour practices will be on Thursdays and/or from 7:10 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. or 8:00 - 8:50 p.m. The Saturday one-games will be held from 3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.  The games will be played in the gymnasium at Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School.  The cost is $85 per participant.
