Guidance counselors from Northeast Metro Vocational High School will meet with eighth grade students in the auditorium on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. to explain acceptance policies and programs. The Northeast Metro Tech High School, located in Wakefield, is a four year public vocational high school. The Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational School District is comprised of communities which send to the vocational school students of diverse social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds. The vocational school understands this diversity and strives to provide vocational, academic, physical, social, ethical, moral, and emotional development through its programs. Melrose is one of twelve surrounding communities that accepts students. Parents are welcome to attend the assembly.
