Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School students on Team 7A will be visiting the Stone Zoo in Stoneham on Thursday, June 18, 2009.  The Stone Zoo Education Center offers "an exciting array of interactive classes featuring a wide range of themes. The topics include: animal adaptations, habitats, animal classifications, life cycles, ecosystems, animal senses, endangered species, zoo careers, and wildlife conservation.  The programs motivate students through hands-on, participatory activities that utilize the Zoos’ rich educational resources.
