The Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School faculty and student body will be supporting our Boston Red Sox, the defending World Series Champions, as they enter the 2008 Major Leagues Baseball playoffs by wearing their favorite Red Sox shirt or other baseball shirt to school on Friday, October 3, 2008.  Will the recent retirement of Johnny Pesky's No. 6 be a lucky charm or will it be the support of 863 middle school students from Melrose?  Wear your baseball shirt to school.  Bring on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.  Go Red Sox!
