Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School will be celebrating New England Patriots Spirit Day on Friday, January 13, 2012 as the local Eastern AFC Divisional Leaders head into the Divisional Playoffs on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts.  Wear your favorite New England Patriots Shirt to school on Friday, January 13, 2012 and earn one point in homeroom toward the annual Sixth Grade Guidance Trophy, the Seventh Grade Assistant Principal’s Trophy or the Eighth Grade Principal’s Trophy.  As one sports reporter put it, “The Patriots will play the Denver Broncos.  No Patriots player or employee would ever admit it, but the Bengals beating the Texans represented the easiest path to the Conference Championship for New England.  Of course, there's a reason they play these games.  And the Patriots (it is known now) will play the 9-8 Denver Broncos as they did beat the Steelers.  So, to recap: The Patriots will play the winner of the Denver Broncos."  The Patriots' game against Quarterback Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos will be on Saturday, January 14th at 8:00 p.m.”  Wear your t-shirt and Go Pats!
