PTO Volunteer Opportunities 2009-2010:  There are many opportunities to volunteer at MVMMS this year.  We need your help and support.  Would you like to help on a committee?  We need your help to fill the following MVMMS PTO Committee volunteer positions:

Enrichment Committee - Members are responsible for bringing enrichment programs and assemblies to MVMMS to enhance the academic and social environment.  Ginia Pascuito, Enrichment Committee Chair - vpasciuto@comcast.net.

Popcorn Sales Committee - Members assist with the making and selling of popcorn
on Thursdays throughout the school year. In the spring this committee sells slush.  Ginia Pascuito, Popcorn Committee Chair - vpasciuto@comcast.net.

Mini-Grants Committee - Members are responsible for awarding grants to the
MVMMS faculty throughout the year after reading mini-grant proposals.

Authors-in-Residence Committee (formerly Writer's Week) - Members
organize a year long program that will focus on the writing aspect of people's
jobs (past guests have included authors, journalists, poets, and city employees).

Newsletter Committee - Members are responsible for compilation and distribution
of the MVMMS PTO "Knoll News" Newsletter that is published three or four times
a year.  Kristin Bolton, Newsletter Committee Chair - Krisbolton@comcast.net.

Box Tops for Education -  Responsible for collecting, cutting and mailing to Company
and maintaining website resources (can be done from home).  Jill Brogan, Box Top Committee Chair - JillBro123@gmail.com.

Campbell's Labels for Education -  Responsible for collecting, cutting and mailing
to Company and maintaining website resources (can be done from home). Patti Nunley, Campbell's Labels Committee Chair - pattissplace@yahoo.com.
