Dear Parents/Guardians,

The purpose of this letter is to invite you to the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School Open House Curriculum Night on Thursday, September 25, 2008, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.  You will have an opportunity to follow your child's abbreviated schedule, which is printed on the back of this letter.  You will rotate to your child's A, B, C, D, E, F, and G-block classes.  You will have an opportunity to meet your child's teachers and hear a description about the curriculum and our exciting middle school program.

The team teachers and the non-team teachers (art, band, chorus, computer, French, German, health, Italian, Spanish, technology education, orchestra, physical education, and wellness) will be available to discuss their respective courses.  This exciting evening is intended for parents/guardians only.  Representatives from the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School PTO will also be available to explain the PTO activities, how the PTO supports the middle school enrichment programs, Math and Science endeavors, Writer's Week, and a host of other events.  They will also explain how you can get involved in supporting the middle school programs.  A presentation about our new online teacher websites, "Digital Classrooms," will also be available.  For more information, visit www.fdr.follett.com/subcategory.cfm?lsubcategoryid=31.
