The MVMMS Math Team is seeking additional members (see Math Team Poster) for a math tournament sponsored by the Intermediate Math League of Eastern Massachusetts.  The Math Team is open to all middle school students. The first round will be against middle school math teams from Marblehead Middle School, Baldwin School (Cambridge), St. Mary's School (Danvers), Ford School (Lynn), Immaculate Conception School (Revere) and Swampscott Middle School.  The next IMLEM Math Meet will be held at Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School on Thursday, December 4, 2008.  The math team meets every Thursday at 3:15 p.m. in the library.  If you would like to join, just come to the meetings.  The MVMMS has a new math blog that is posted at http://mvmmsmathclub.blogspot.com.  Members should check this blog regularly for updates, assignments and/or announcements.  For more information contact Coach Nagar at avinagar@verizon.net.  Good luck to the MVMMS Math Team!
