The Melrose Veterans Memorial Math Team will be hosting a math meet of the Intermediate Math League of Eastern Massachusetts on Thursday, January 12, 2012.  The participants in the Math Meet will be the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School Math Team; the Austin Prep Middle School Math Team, Reading; the Parker Middle School Math Team, Reading; the Stoneham Middle School Math Team; the Lynnfield Middle School Math Team; the North Reading Middle School Math Team; and Coolidge Middle School Math Team; Reading.  The MVMMS Math Team members are: Griffin B., 7C; Ryan B., 6B; Nick C., 8B; Justin C., 7A; Evan D., 8A; Trey D. 8A; Charlie F., 6C; Ben F., 8A; Gerard F., 7A; Justin H., 8C; Alba I., 6C; Christy I., 6C; Nelson M., 8A; Conor M., 8A; Liam M., 7A; Tara O., 6B; John P., 6C; Chris S., 7A; Nate S., 7A; Aevary S., 8A; Sophia S., 8B; Denis T., 6A; Mathew B., 7A; Eric T., 6A; James T., 6C; Ashley V., 6C; Michael W., 7C; Kyla W., 6A; and Meghan W., 8A.  The meet will be held in the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School cafeteria from 3:00 pm to 5:30 p.m.  The MVMMS Math Team is currently in first place in the Gardner Division.  For more information contact MVMMS Math Team Coaches - Mrs Fowler at dfowler@melrose.mec.edu and/or Ms. Pereira at lpereira@melrose.mec.edu.  Good luck to the MVMMS Math Team!
