All Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School sixth grade students will be attending an art history assembly in the auditorium titled "Mary Cassatt: A Great American Artist" on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.  Mary Cassatt (1884-1926) was invited to display her Impressionist paintings in Paris, France.  She was truly a great American artist.  Parents are welcome to attend.
