The Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School family will honor the Boston Celtics and their Celtic friends by wearing their favorite Boston Celtic t-shirt or other green shirt to school on Thursday, March 17, 2011.  The Boston Celtics are led by Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Glen Davis, Rajon Rondo, and the other Celtics players and coaches.  Green is the team's color and the winking leprechaun serves as the team's logo and mascot.  The homeroom representatives will count the numbers of green shirts and points will be award toward the respective team trophies.  Wear Green and Go Boston Celtics!
