** The Student/Parent Handbooks have arrived.  If you have not received one please report to the Main Office.

**Seniors are reminded that University Cap & Gown will taking measurements on Friday, November 21st during both lunches.  The cost for the Caps & Gowns are $16.25.

**Reminder to all students in the Big Chef Little Chef Club that there is an event this Friday.  Please meet in Ms. Emil's rrom 115 after school.  We should be done by 4:30 p.m.

**There will be a captain's practice on Monday, November 24th for Girls Basketball in the gym after school.

**Attention all seniors --- your baby pictures and your then and now pictures are due today Friday, November 21st.  Also Spirit Week T-Shirts will be available on Monday, November 24th.  Make sure you have your $10.00 class dues on Monday so you can pick up your shirts.

**Spanish Club members must bring in their $10.00 for their t'shirts today.

**Tickets to the Homecoming Dance will be sold in the lobby Thursday afternoon, Friday, Monday and Tuesday before school and after.  You must have turned in a behavior contract beforehand.

**Attention to all juniors -- Your behavior contracts must be turned in to the Guidance Office by Friday, November 21st.  If you need another contract you may pick it up in the Guidance Office.

**Any freshmen who haven't turned in their behavior contracts must do so by Friday, November 21st.  Please see Mr. Bondanza in room 325 or Ms. Williams in room 320.

**If you are interested in signing up for Gymnastics this winter please sign up in the Resource Center on Thursday, November

**Nomination forms are available in Room 118 for Homecoming King & Queen.  Nominees can be any boy or girl from the junior or senior classes.  Any student grade 9-12 may pass in a nomination paper.  Forms must be returned to Room 118 no later than Thursday at 2:15.  Students on the Homecoming court will be announced on Friday.

**The Latin Club will be having a party after school on Friday, November 21st.  If you have not paid your dues, you must speak to Dr. Kepple before Friday.  Dues are $5.00.

** The freshmen class is collecting money for Spirit Week t-shirts.  The cost will be $12.00 and you may give your money to any member of the Student Government.

**The Class of 2010 will be selling bracelets in memory of Danny Williams for $3.00.  They will be sold at lunch and the proceeds will go to the Jimmy Fund.

**A large recycling bin has been placed in the cafeteria for plastic bottles/cans.  Please be sure to pour out any excess liquid in the white bucket before putting bottles/cans in the bin.

**Mock Trial meetings will be held every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in Room 228.

**The Class of 2010 will be collecting dues beginning on Monday, November 17th to Friday, November 21st in the lobby before and after school.  The cost is $12.00 and must be paid in order to attend the Homecoming Dance and Prom.  Please also bring in a signed behavior contract if you have not done so yet.

**Seniors are reminded to see Mrs. Carpenter in the Main Office to check the spelling of their name for their diploma.

**Suffolk University, UMASS Lowell and Salem State College are conducting On the Spot Admission visits to Melrose High School in December.  The Guidance Department urges any senior interested in these schools to please see your counselor for more details.

**There are new job postings and community service opportunities listed on the bulletin boards in the 2nd floor office.
