On October 10th the Horace Mann School was under the leadership of Principal for the Day, Eric Taitano. 

During the day Principal Taitano took part in many of the typical duties performed by an elementary school principal. Some of those duties included making school-wide announcements, purchasing supplies for classrooms, handing out personalized business cards, and performing lunch duty. 

Principal Taitano also conducted a survey of the 3rd through 5th graders as to what they would like to see happening at the Horace Mann School. Principal Taitano ended his day by meeting with Superintendent Casey at the central office and later sending out a ConnectED message to the Horace Mann community wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable weekend.
