*Please Note: When sending in your child's lunch payment, remember put your child's last name on the checks (payable to Melrose School Lunch Program) and envelopes and his/her grade and teacher's name. Also, if you have received a small brown envelope with your child's name, please send that back with your lunch payment and pay all negative balances with in the first week of the month.

Hello to all Families at Horace Mann:

I would like to introduce myself to all of you. I am the Head lunch Mom at Horace Mann & look forward to meeting all of your children.  If you have any questions or concerns this year, please feel free to contact me at the school cafeteria at 781-979-2193 or email me anytime at hm.cafe@melrose.mec.edu.

I would like to go over the school policy for the NUT-FREE table at lunch. There is a designated table for all students that have peanut and/or tree nut alleriges of any kind (including sesame seeds) for all lunches. This table is located right when you enter the cafeteria on the right hand side & is the first table. Students may have a friend sit with them at lunch as long as that student does not bring any lunch or snack containing peanuts, tree nuts, or sesame seeds of any kind & has a permission slip signed by their parent/guardian.

There is a new sticker program that the Principal has put together. Once students earn 25 stickers they will earn more recess time at lunch. More information to follow as I do not have all the details of how this is going to operate yet.
