Dear Fourth Graders and Families,
We are so excited to be your fourth grade teachers! We’re looking forward to working with all of you and we would like to help you be prepared for a successful school year. You will need the following items labeled with your name:
24 pencils (pre-sharpened is preferred)
2 large glue sticks
1 bottle of liquid Elmer’s glue
1 box of tissues
1 roll of paper towels
4 dry erase markers
2 highlighters
1 package of colored pencils
1 box of 48 crayons
1 package of markers
4 pocket folders (please choose the following colors only: red, blue, yellow and green)
Please submit $10.00 to cover your child’s subscription to Time For Kids and their weekly planner. Please send in cash or a personal check made out to the Horace Mann.
Time for Kids (TFK) is a student friendly edition of Time Magazine. It has current events and child appropriate stories. The school planner is an essential component of our school day. Students learn responsibility by organizing their assignments and learning how to manage their time. They will be responsible for recording their homework assignments daily, as well as school functions and events.
Have a great summer vacation! We will see you on September 1st.
