Welcome to the Horace Mann Early Bird Program. This program runs Monday through Friday beginning at 7:15 am. 

Early Bird staff: Mrs. Barbagallo, Miss LaVita and Mr. McDermod.

Please enter through the All Purpose Room and bring your child to the classroom where Early Bird is being held (see schedule below).  Children must be signed in for each visit. Breakfast is not served, but feel free to bring a peanut/sesame seed free meal. Books, games and various activities are available to keep your child entertained during their time at Early Bird.  

Early Bird payment:

The charge will still be $2.50/day/child and the bills go out on/about the 30th of each month. It is due as soon as possible, but no later than the 15th of the next month.

Some things to remember:

- Early Bird does not run on snow days or during delayed openings
- K-2 Students should be accompanied by an adult when arriving to Early Bird
- Please arrive no earlier than 7:15, for there is no supervision available
- Behavior expectations are the same as the regular school day, please refer to your Elementary Handbook
