Golf for Your School
You are invited to participate in the 8th Annual Horace Mann School Golf Tournament to be held at the Mount Hood Golf Course on Friday, May 13, 2011 [Scramble Start at 1:30 pm].
The last Golf Tournament’s proceeds helped fund enrichment programs that happened outside of regular classroom lessons. These activities are not part of the regular school budget and would not have taken place without funding from the Horace Mann PTO. In addition to enrichment programs, previous tournament money has funded MCAS tutoring programs, a mobile computing lab rack “mini-grants” to teachers for specialized classroom materials, new library books and software, and SmartBoard technology.
We hope you will consider supporting this fundraiser for our school. There are many ways to show your school spirit: golf, attend dinner, buy raffle tickets, sign up as a family sponsor, or donate a silent auction or raffle item. In addition, perhaps you know of a business that may be willing to sponsor a hole, as well. It's great exposure to a loyal group of parents and friends. We hope you join us for golf, dinner and drinks as well as dancing and an opportunity to win some great prizes!
