7th Annual Horace Mann Golf Tournament was Right on Par!

OOn Friday, September 11, 2009, the 7th Annual Horace Mann Golf Tournament successfully kicked off the fundraising efforts for the school year. Based on early estimates, this year’s event is expected to net approximately $8,000! All proceeds will benefit the 09-10 student body.

Many thanks to all that supported the event by way of playing golf, enjoying dinner, purchasing raffle tickets, volunteering time, donating raffles, and sponsoring the event. The event was held again at The Mt. Hood Golf Course. It mixed some of our old traditions and welcomed some new ones.

Special congrats were in order to Mister McD! In addition to winning the Tournament and the 50/50 raffle, Mister McD graciously accepted the dedication of this year's Tournament's. In honor of his 35 years of teaching our children, his competitive spirit and love of the game....well done Mister McD!
