Library Looking for A Few Good Women (or Men)! The Hoover School library is managed entirely by volunteers.Running the library is a big job, but you can help us in many small ways.  Many hands make light work! Volunteers are needed each week to: read to classes check books in and out shelve books In addition, volunteers are needed for other tasks throughout the year, such as: help with book processing (attaching labels, barcodes, stamping, covering, etc.) putting up seasonal displays and bulletin boards help with keeping the library clean (sanitizing tables, vacuuming the rug, occasional dusting) keeping the shelves organized alphabetically and by Dewey number Library classes meet for a 1/2 hour per week.  Volunteers may commit to once a month or less often- even a few times a year is a help. Well-behaved younger siblings are always welcome.  All volunteers must be registered with the Bridge.  New volunteers will require a short training to learn how to manage the electronic system.
