Site Council
Dr. Sidell is looking for parents who are interested in becoming members of the Hoover Site Council.  The Site Council is responsible for the creation of the School Improvement Plan as well as sponsoring educational events.  Site Council terms are three years in length.  If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Dr. Sidell. – dsidell@melrose.mec.edu

Students can buy hot, fresh popcorn for $1.00/bag several days of the school year.  Proceeds will go to classroom teachers to buy supplies.  We need volunteers to help pop 250–300 bags of popcorn that morning, and help sell to the kids and/or deliver bags to the classrooms!  Please contact Lauren or Tammy if you can volunteer some time.

Hoover Copy Center

We are currently in need of lots of volunteers to help teachers with photocopying.  There are slots open every day from 11:00 - 11:45 (except Thursdays which are 10:00-10:45 and 1:00-1:45).  A rotating schedule of volunteers has been created in an effort to keep the commitment to a minimum.  This is an invaluable service that allows the teachers more prep time and is something they truly appreciate.
