Regarding Art Update

Regarding Art kicks off its seventh year on October 21 in the 3rd grade. Students will view and discuss artwork from the Italian Renaissance under the guidance of parents Dina DeCecca and Martha Grover. They will enjoy the work of DaVinci, Raphael, Botticelli, and Michelangelo. On October 27, parents Suanne Garnier and Martha Grover will present artwork in the style of Realism and Photo Realism to the 4th grade. They will discuss paintings by Grant Wood, Edward Hopper, George Bellows, and others.

The program runs October through May and currently includes grades 2–5. Annie Shippee is Program Coordinator. Dina DeCecca is Grade 3 Coordinator.
