Parking and Drop Off Policies Link here for complete policy

The parking lot secured each day at 3:00 p.m. when the gates to Glendower Road and Birch Hill Avenue are locked. During the summer and school recesses, both gates will be locked at all times.

Melrose School Policy regarding food in the classroom:

1) All elementary classrooms are nut-free. Please do not send snacks contaminates by nuts to school.

2) Everyone loves a birthday! Celebrate your child's birthday with a non-edible item, such as a toy or a library book donation. Please leave the treats for home. We want all children to be safe in school.

Policy regarding dogs on campus.

Dogs are not allowed on school grounds or the school playground. Please refer to the Elementary School Handbook.

Inclement Weather drop-off

Children must use the side door to enter the building at the beginning of the school day, regardless of weather. Please do not allow drop off children at the front door, particularly in inclement weather.
