Use yourTarget Credit or Debit Card and the Hoover School can receive 1% of all proceeds back.  Once you have a Target credit or debit card, you go to corporate site and click the link to designate a school. Search for the Hoover and enter your Target credit card number. Then each time you shop at a Target store, Target gives 1% of all proceeds to our school. PTO Annual Fund The Hoover Annual Fund accepts 100% tax-deductible donations all year.  Currently, 25% of Hoover families have contributed to the fund and our goal is to surpass last years participation rate of 40%.  Donations range from $10 to $300 with an average donation of about $50.  Any donation amount is appreciated and acknowledged with a tax receipt.  If your employer matches your donations, submit the paperwork with your donation and we will happily complete the matching process.  The Hoover School PTO tax identification number is 33-1216703 for confirmation purposes. Use a Good Search -- and Earn the Hoover $$$$ Who doesn't do Internet searches everyday? Try this…go to www.good search.com, and at the prompt to select your favorite "charity" select "Hoover School Melrose" from the drop down menu and begin your searches. That's all you have to do! The Hoover will earn money for every search.  This innovative program has been reported in the New York Times as the wave of the future—harnessing the power of the Internet for the good of the community.
Cut it Out! -- Boxtops for Education Hoover participates in the General Mills Box Tops for Education program. The latest batch of 3,650 box tops earned us $365.00!  The school receives ten cents for every box top logo that it redeems.  You may log onto www.boxtops4education.com and follow the directions to "sign up now" for additional ways to help Hoover earn point.  Put box tops in a marked envelope and send them to school in your child's backpack, or drop them off in the Box Tops for Education collection box located on the PTO shelf in the school lobby.  For the complete list of brands and products that participate in the Box Tops for Education program, look here.
Wait! Recycle Used Cell Phones and Ink Cartridges! Hoover is involved in the FundingFactory Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling Programs.  Donate your empty printer cartridges and used cell phones to the Hoover School! Through the FundingFactory we earn "points" which are exchanged for consumer goods or cash. The FundingFactory also has a Business Support Program which can allow your business to support Hoover School by providing them with prepaid shipping boxes.
