All proceeds go directly back to the classrooms for educational materials and supplies. Popcorn is gluten and peanut free. The Hoover Web home page and Enotices will publicize specific sale days.

Last year 34% of all families contributed to the Annual Fund. This year our goal is 100% participation and a 10% increase in gifts! Kindly make checks payable to "Hoover School PTO" and be sure to include your child's last name and homeroom (ex: Smith KA)

SHAW'S IS MAKING IT EASIER FOR YOU TO BENEFIT HOOVER!
Beginning March 1, 2009, Shaw's will implement the "Shaw's Neighborhood Rewards" program. Hoover will automatically get 1% of qualified purchases when you use your Shaw's Rewards Card.
You must register your rewards card online. It's easy. Go to www.shaws.com/neighborhoodrewards. Click on
Shoppers login or register here. You will need your Shaw's Rewards
Card number and your phone number. Then you can select our
organization to support. Hoover School's Neighborhood Rewards ID# is
49001018551. If you do not have a Shaw's Rewards Card you can also sign up for one at this website.
Shop Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Hoover will receive 1% of your purchases.

Try this…go to www.good search.com, and at the prompt to select your favorite "charity" select "Hoover School Melrose" from the drop down menu and begin your searches. That's all you have to do! The Hoover will earn money for every search. This innovative program has been reported in the New York Times as the wave of the future—harnessing the power of the Internet for the good of the community.

Hoover participates in the General Mills Box Tops for Education program. The latest batch of 3,650 box tops earned us $365.00! The school receives ten cents for every box top logo that it redeems. You may log onto www.boxtops4education.com and follow the directions to "sign up now" for additional ways to help Hoover earn point. Put box tops in a marked envelope and send them to school in your child's backpack, or drop them off in the Box Tops for Education collection box located on the PTO shelf in the school lobby. Hoover is involved in the FundingFactory Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling Programs. Donate your empty printer cartridges and used cell phones to the Hoover School! Through the FundingFactory we earn "points" which are exchanged for consumer goods or cash. The FundingFactory also has a Business Support Program which can allow your business to support Hoover School by providing them with prepaid shipping boxes.
